To say I’m just a little bit proud of myself is understatement! I’m feeling the best I’ve felt since, well I can’t remember, and it’s all thanks to an absolutely brilliant coach and an awesome team around me…THANK YOU! It’s been a tough six weeks at times with the nutrition plan and I struggled on week 5 with DOMS, but I need to shout it out I’m also back in size 10 jeggings!! I haven’t been this size since 10+ years ago. When I started this programme I said I wanted to feel comfortable in my own skin again, people used to say that I look fine but in clothes maybe, outside of clothes I hated what I saw and how I felt. This course has changed my view a lot on nutrition and how I feel. So thanks again to Ray you have been the best coach a team could ask for!

I’m excited to start the 6 week transition course and to say the 6 week journey hasn’t ended it’s just the start! CF Southern Legion is such a fantastic facility to train, learn and get fitter and stronger I can’t rate it enough!! Thank you

Halfway update:

weight loss = 3lbs; inches lost: 2″ waist, 2″ hips

My face feels and looks so much thinner, my skin looks like I’ve hit my teenage years again with spots galore coming out, but I’m putting that down to the change in diet and my body detoxing!
But it’s not all about the measurements, how I’m feeling inside is brilliant. I’m loving the training sessions; Ray, Paul and Mat have been amazing support the shouting of encouragement of ‘just one more’ makes me actually want to push out five more reps, so thanks guys!!

I’m loving the team of people I am going through this experience with and not one of us wants it to end which is why I think almost all of us will be signing up to the next course. I’ve learnt so much in three weeks about the technical side of things, nutrition and just how teamwork is really the key to getting through this.

I’m so lucky to have got onto this course and it’s a testament to Ray and the team that we are all feeling that we do not want this to end!

my reason for joining the programme:

I’m doing this because losing body fat and becoming stronger and fitter will support my aim of not relying on medication for my psoriatic arthritis. I also find the pain subsides the more active I am. I have an old injury from a car accident where I fractured a vertebra in my lower back and the stronger my core is, the less back pain I get! An all round stronger, fitter body will benefit my health problems and confidence and, like my husband says to me, I am a lot happier if I have fitness goals and see results.

I don’t have an ideal weight because I tend to measure my progress through the feeling of my clothes (the scales just depress me), and overall I want to achieve a toned body and feel comfortable in my own skin.
